Kubfu will make its Pokémon GO debut!

The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild.
The following Pokémon will hatch from 2 km, 5 km, 7 km and 10 km Eggs. Also, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to hatch Shiny Charcadet—if you’re lucky! In addition to Charcadet, you can also hatch the usual Pokémon available in each of those Eggs for this Season.
The following Pokémon will appear in raids.
Field Research tasks will be available. Rewards include encounters with event-themed Pokémon.
A new Special Research story will be available. Throughout the season, you’ll be able to reach new heights with your Legendary partner Pokémon, Kubfu. You can claim this Special Research at no cost from Wednesday, March 5, at 10:00 a.m. to Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at 9:59 a.m. local time.
Event-themed Timed Research will be available for the event! Complete the research tasks to earn items and an encounter with Charcadet, and to unlock the the event bonus of 1/4 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period.
For US$8.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you can play through separate Special Research and encounter Dynamax Kubfu again and other rewards.
Charcadet and its evolutions will be released in its Shiny variant.
